In continuation of my telegram of the 30th ultimo, a copy of which is enclosed, I have the honour to forward for your information the enclosed copy of a report by the Principal Civil Medical Officer respecting the state of health of Miss B. David, Nursing Sister in the Government Civil Hospital.

From that report you will observe that the Medical Authorities are of opinion that Miss David is unfit for further service in this Colony, and I accordingly requested in my telegram that a successor might be selected and sent out as soon as possible to take her place.

I enclose the usual paper of particulars of the vacant office, and a copy of the General Duties of Nursing Sisters in the Medical Department of this Government for the information of the Colonial Nursing Association, Imperial Institute, to which body I have written.
