The initial part of the text appears to be a formal letter from the Government House in Hongkong, dated June 30, 1899. The main content discusses the health of Miss B. David, a Nursing Sister, and the process of finding a replacement. The latter, seemingly unrelated parts contain fragmented notes and communications regarding various matters, including staffing and correspondence with different individuals and organizations. The text has been formatted into paragraphs and corrected for minor OCR errors while preserving the original content and structure.$480 to $20 with board; but I don't know that we need trouble.
